"Hello, my name is John H.D. Lucy, and I'm the pastor here at Charlton City UMC.  I'm originally from Hudson, MA, before I met my wife, Danielle, at St. Michael's College in Vermont and then completed my studies at Wesley Theological Seminary in D.C.  Danielle and I have been married since 2014 and have two cute, funny, shy but loving boys named Sebastian and Soren.  I'm essentially a teenage convert to faith in Christ and I tried running away from the call God placed on my life to be a pastor.  So I come to faith from a place of doubt and skepticism, of intellectual questioning.  I know that God can handle our questions and doubts; I know that God loves us even when we wander; I know that God seeks the lost.  God is good.  And I will love nothing more than walking with you on your journey, wherever it has taken you so far, to find and experience the fullness of God's grace.  I'm looking forward to meeting you, chatting with you, and praying with and for you."  More . . .
